What can be the Team Size?
You can form teams of up to 3 people. Most teams aim to have a mix of people with both design and developer skills. Each team members during registration need to add the same team name. In case of any discrepancies, the respective team members would be disqualified. We request to be diligent while registration.
What if not all the team members are selected?
We will send acceptance information to individual members. If 50% and above of the team is individually selected, then entire of the team gets selected. If not, please contact us immediately so that we can review your team again
How to reach INVINCIX?
Bhubaneswar is well connected to all major cities of Odisha by train/bus. Railway Station and Bus stand are 20-30 mins away from our place. For any issues you can call any of our core team members who would be avaiable 24hrs to help you reach your Coding destination.
What if I've never been to A HACKATHON before?
Then we're so glad GenHax will be your first ever! It’s helpful to have some programming or technical experience, but it’s not a requirement. We’ll have talks, mentors and workshops to help you with your project.
Do we provide travel cost?
We can’t guarantee reimbursements for everyone, but we don’t want money to keep you from experiencing GenHax. Let us know if you still need help making your way to Bhubaneswar and we’ll see what we can do.
Can girls team participate?
We have always encouraged girls to participate and learn. We've treasured swag exclusively for girls to promote and encourage their participation.
Can I start working on my hack before the event?
Absolutely not. You cannot even use any pre-existing projects for your hack. However, you can familiarize yourself with all the tools, frameworks and technologies you intend to use beforehand!
Once I am accepted, what do I need to bring?
A valid government issued photo ID, laptop, phone, chargers, any sleeping equipment you might want. We'll be providing mattresses! Food & beverages will be provided by us.
What is the selection procedure?
Once you register on the website, our admin panel will verify each entry and communicate with each team members. Selection & judgement is completely unbiased and done by experts evaluating the profiles based on the activity of the candidate in programming community.
